The Giunta Capitolina has approved the schedule of the calendar prepared by the Department for Agriculture, Environment and Waste Cycle concerning the total blocking of the circulation of motor vehicles in the zone ZTL Fascia Verde, in the time slots 7:30-12:30 and 16:30-20:30 for the winter season 2024-2025.
This year, too, the number of Sundays scheduled is 5 and will be accompanied by public information and awareness-raising events on environmental issues.
The ecological Sundays, established as measures that contribute to the prevention and containment of air pollution by taking into account the indications of European, national and regional regulations, are an important opportunity to raise awareness on issues of environmental sustainability and the actions necessary to limit and improve the quality of the air we breathe.
The first ecological Sunday will affect the day of Sunday, November 10, 2024 except for athletes who, participating in the Rome15k – New Ford Puma, can circulate by filling out a form (the form can be downloaded by clicking on the button below “Athletes’ exemption form” ) to be shown at the time in case of request.
